Hermit [Jan. 5th, 2010|11:17 pm]

So lately I've been kind of a hermit and not really saying much. I finally received my DSLR in the mail yesterday and I love it. I need to buy lenses for it though so, I must rely on ebay again to get me a good lens in my price range. I've been talking to my friend josh about getting my hair site up sometime soon. I'm still kinda hooked on mikey but we defiantly have been talking less since me n him have both been busy with life and not really online all that much. Life seems to be getting back to normal slowly thank god. The week my grandparents were here was a lot of fun and I was glad to finally see them again, It was defiantly nice to have the house back though. I bought a new sidekick on ebay but for some reason it doesn't charge. I don't know if I just want to sell it for parts or actually bother driving out to brandon to see if t-mobile can see why it won't charge. I hung out with dustin all day yesterday and it was a lot of fun. It was effing freezing but it was nice to hang out with a friend. Angel gets into florida on the 15th. I'm not sure if I will see him before or not but him and I are defiantly hanging out on his birthday weekend(feb 5th). We are hoping to be able to get a car and drive up to jacksonville again and sleep over at joshs' and go see sisen the next day. I will be so happy to see him since I don't talk to him as much since hes working a ton.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

FORMSPRING ME

"Not to be mean, but why are most of your pictures taken with your mouth open? Some look nice, but some look a little bit too much. I love you and all but I just wanted to know." - Anonymous.

This is the most hilarious thing ever. I didn't know anything about this till I saw this message. I went to my myspace, and they're right, almost every picture I have taken, I have my mouth open. Haha! I assure you, I don't do it intentionally. Maybe it's because I hate my lips, so I try to make them appear bigger by keeping my mouth open. I'll be paying more attention to this in the future.

In other news, I've been buying a lot of new clothes, things online, and obtaining many other useful items that I was in dire need of. Here's some of the things I acquired:

ITEM #1: I finally got a cellphone. I used to have one about a year and half ago, but it was cheap and very ghetto. This one has mp3 & camera capabilities, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, & I am very pleased with it. I don't have free texting, but if you still would like my number for any reason, just message me and I'll give it to you.

ITEM #2: I bought this Hello Kitty necklace on ebay for only $2.50 from Hong Kong. I wanted one and the shipping was free so I couldn't pass it up. I should be getting another pink one that was the same price soon. Plus this has a black bow and is covered with diamonds. Hello Kitty + Diamonds + $2.50 = WIN!

ITEM #3: Not very important but a nice shirt from Miley Cyrus & Max Azria. I love me some Miley.

ITEM #4: New shoes. Cheap brand from Kmart, but I thought they were decent, and half price. I was in desperate need of getting rid of those other shoes I had for over a year.

WELCOME TO
2010

I chose to ring in the new year teetering upon 8 inch stripper stilettos, never mind the fact that it was completely freezing outside (my toes were totally exposed) and I was out in my driveway hollering and setting off fireworks. Those particular pair of shoes were an anonymous gift from my amazon wishlist, so thank you very much to whoever sent them!

Anyway, so after my previous entry I prettied myself up, and Atom came over. It was around 11:30 so we sat around and discussed 2009 and I ate some dinner. Then it was about that time so I gathered up the fireworks and we went outside with my mom joining us. Shortly after, 12 o clock arrived and everyone in my neighborhood was going nuts, and we shot off some fireworks, yelled a bit, and honked a car horn.

Came inside and I called up Steph who was at some sort of party and not too thrilled about it so I suggested that we go to Waffle House. She agreed and said that was a lovely idea, so a few minutes later Ryan and her showed up and then Atom chauffeured us all to the House of Waffle were we partook in some delightfully greasy delicious tasty bits. Quote of the day goes to Atom: "you guys eat like truckers."

Came back home and Steph and Ryan went to pick up Ruben and I hung around with Atom and worked on dreads. ...and that's that.

Oh and I received a phonecall from [info]sidepocket_pro! I'm always getting random calls from numbers I don't know and I rarely ever answer them because I usually don't feel like talking on the phone in general, but I decided to answer and it was him wishing me a happy new year! BACK ATCHA SON!

WHAT'S YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS? Personally I "resolute" myself all the time, but I'm going to make it a point to do a couple of things: one being going to the gym AT LEAST 4 days a week starting tomorrow until my Caribbean cruise vacation which is now a little over 2 months away! I need to tone my ass so I don't look like a flubberbutt in my bikini. ALSO: follow my "linear life list" and GET EVERYTHING DONE, no procrastinating allowed. I have so many half finished projects and I need to get them behind me. Learn a new skill every month, and also do a "unique" artistic photoshoot every month with a completely different style.

Did you know that last night was not only New Year's Eve, but it was also a FULL MOON, and not just a regular FULL MOON, but a BLUE MOON! AND THERE WAS A LUNAR ECLIPSE! Wow,'twas a special night! I missed the eclipse, but I did get a picture of the moon:

BLUE MOON INFORMATION: (taken from Wikipedia - my favorite site which I happily donate to - )
A blue moon is a Full Moon that is not timed to the regular monthly pattern. Most years have twelve full moons which occur approximately monthly, but in addition to those twelve full lunar cycles, each solar calendar year contains an excess of roughly eleven days compared to the lunar year. The extra days accumulate, so that every two or three years (7 times in the 19-year Metonic cycle), there is an extra full moon. The extra moon is called a "blue moon." Different definitions place the "extra" moon at different times. The term blue moon was coined in 1965.

ONCE IN A BLUE MOON INDEED!

Anyway, I have some fun stuff coming up. Soon I will be having an art contest that will involve a cash money prize (look for it in the next week or so) and over the weekend I will be putting up ANOTHER epic sales post because I've found even more stuff I no longer want! I also have some secret projects in the works... to be announced later.

I hope everyone had some sort of fun last night, and I look forward to another year of life recording on good ol' LJ here. MY JOURNAL TURNS 9 FUCKING YEARS OLD at the end of this month. HOLY CRAP I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOREVER.

Oh, and I've officially reached my friends limit on here! I cannot add anyone else as a friend, which is kind of shitty... you can still add me though. They need to raise the limit!

Behind the cut are a few other photos from tonight's "celebration":

Well I suppose it's time for an update seeing as how it's been over a week!

I've been EXTREMELY busy in the real world, working on home improvement stuff & running the hair business. Many late nights of dread making, orders are through the roof and it's very time consuming but I'm continuously happy with the success. Officially repainted my bathroom which was the most difficult on the list of my room redesigns considering all the tape work & wall plaster that had to be done. Installed a new light over the tub so it's nice and bright and cheerful. It's *ALMOST* finished, just a few minor touchups, but I've been enjoying it so far! Have my new custom desk design drawn up (which is going to be epic) as well as the design for my new makeup table/storage. Will start building the makeup set up next week after I gather the construction supplies needed. I'm excited for that definitely, no more crowding the sink in the downstairs "powder room" with my piles and piles of makeup products. Instead I'll have a fancy dressing room style set up for making myself glamorous.

Considering the date, I would definitely say it's time for my annual "year's end" commentary.

So here I sit on the edge of a New Year, almost 2 hours to go central time. Normally I'm out partying on NYE, and I've been invited to quite a few parties & get-togethers, and had the option of attending a few super huge events but this year I've chosen to just relax. Which is totally fine by me, considering the crazy busy year I've had! Really, out of everything I could be doing, the #1 option would have been Together As One again, but that would have required going to Los Angeles. I'm currently saving up my money for a rather large purchase and it would not have been wise to spend my funds on a vacation when I'm super close to meeting my goal. There's always next year!

So it's goodbye to 2009 and hello to
2010

The end of a decade! Wow, time does fly. 10 years ago I was 16 and my "life" had really just begun. It's so crazy to think back on everything that has happened. I will say that I'm quite content with where I sit as of now, and the future is brighter than ever.

2009 was one of the best years ever for me. It went by really quick but I had so much fun, learned a lot, grew as a person, and achieved many things I had hoped to. Maybe not everything, but I kind of set my goals high so sometimes it takes a while to get there.

Overall out of everything that has happened in the past year, my favorite experience would definitely have to be performing at EDC with Perish & the Hollywood Klowns. It was beyond epic, and something I would have never imagined myself to have the courage to do considering my past struggles with social anxiety. This event pretty much confirmed the fact that I have finally won that battle. Standing on the side of the stage with Perish and another Klown girl with our arms around each other's shoulders - after having been on stage for the climax of the evening - and looking out at the sea of 80,000 ravers dancing under clouds of spewing confetti and glitter, my heart pounding right along with the music... it was so surreal. Amazing. One of the best times in my life, and I am so happy to have been a part of it.

Of course there were many other awesome times as well, and I would do a whole recap of the year in pictures but I'm running short on time so maybe I'll do that tomorrow. Even if I'm not doing anything special tonight, I do have one rule not to be broken: never ring in the new year without looking fabulous. So I need to rush myself into the shower and get my game face on.

My hope for 2010 is for it to be just as amazing as 2009 + some. I have many aspirations for this year, and I hope to achieve the majority of them. I'm determined to be an unstoppable force.

MONEY - SUCCESS - FAME - GLAMOUR

I wish everyone well for 2010, and I hope the new year brings you happiness, love, and good times. Reach out and grab life before it passes you by.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HERE'S A CHRISTMAS POST )

"Ho ho ho, under the mistletoe. Yes, everybody knows, We will take off our clothes. Yes, if you want us to we will" - Lady Gaga, Christmas Tree

Every year my family really does go all out, and spends a lot of money on gifts. I practically knew 98% of my gifts this year because I picked them all out myself. The only thing I was truly surprised by, was the gift my father gave me. The rest were all clothes, that are pretty much amazing, and every item is sized perfectly (I tried them all on). My Christmas spirit really wasn't that high. We usually go out and look at lights or do some fancy event, but we didn't get to this time around. I still had a great Holiday and I appreciate everything that I got. Other than that, this season has been filled with glee, emotions, love, and many tears (good and bad). I have much shopping to do with all the money I acquired.

I also been working all December to get my old "happy" life back, and getting all organized for the New Years. I reorganized my music files on my mp3 player, cleaned my computer files rid of any viruses and spyware, finally catching up on all my schoolwork, & everything else which I am very happy about. Lately I've been feeling so productive, energetic, and just all over ecstatic. & I got my sleeping patterns back to a normal time so I don't sleep all day. This is great! I'm finally starting to see the end of this depression phase.

Also, big Kudos to my buddy Shone. :D

I'm starting to write a novel. You don't understand how many novels I tried writing, and then randomly losing interest, and giving up. This time will be different! I want to publish my own book series/novel someday, and my imagination has been at an all time high lately, so I will COMPLETE THIS BOOK.
